Twitter has been a bee hive since rumours of a rift between duo Peter and Jude Okoye emerged.
Fans
and haters alike took to the popular social media to express various
opinions, say prayers, dish out steaming advices and also lay blames at
their suspects' feet.
While most fans prayed for a
solution to the rift other than a break-up, a number of people did not
'give a damn', preferring to diss the twin entertainers instead.
Ovation Magazine owner and politician @DeleMomodu preferred to seek an end to the crisis rather than lay blames.
"We
should not judge on the basis of who's wrong and who's right; the
illustrious Psquare family made Africa very proud!" he said.
Some fans were obviously yet to come to terms with a possible end to the Psquare group.
"This Psquare rumour better be fake. That's d best thing that happened to African music," @iamslimbrown said.
For folks like @doktafelz, a break up of the P-Square brothers was nothing for concern.
He said, "Pray against Psquare split? D'banj and jazzy sef we no pray so who tha hell Dem be?"
Temisan Okomi @temiokomi also thought there was no big deal in it.
"The Jacksons were a bigger group. They broke up too. So...bleh," he wrote.
Others like @willadebo urged caution because. To them, both brothers need each other to succeed.
"Lol!
Actually, PSquare can't afford to split. Their music was never that
awesome anyways. Wait! Who's gon listen to PeterO music?" @willadebo
posted.
Same view was held by @Joefranky1 who
tweeted his admonition, "Psquare, you both serve as your destiny
helper, stay together. God has made you channel of greatness, Never work
alone."
The woman connection appeared and many fans blamed Peter Okoye's better half Lola Omotayo.
@Echecrates
alleged this in his tweet which read, "Funny enough when I hosted
Psquare for a concert and somebody asked em why they aren't married they
said women complicate matters."
"Please which wife is causing this Psquare break up? She has to go..." @ZinnieD also wrote.
Meanwhile, other fans were only concerned about the next P-Square song.
A fan @its_ZIBI tweeted, "Dear Psquare when will our new songs come out?"
So people, what's your take?
However,
P-Square’s publicist, Bayo Adetu has vehemently denied the development and
termed it untrue. ‘The report is not true and I can’t waste my time on
inappropriate news’.
RexNews also made efforts to reach P-Sqaure but it proved abortive.
While the entire industry prays and hopes that this should pass as one of those many speculations, RexNews believes that time will uravel the mystery.
