Sheriff: Body of toddler found after Florida alligator attack

The body of the missing 2-year-old boy has finally been located after an exhaustive search ... and after analyzing the remains, cops believe the alligator drowned the child.
The name of the boy was also released ... 2-year-old Lane Graves from Elkhorn, Nebraska -- and his parents, Matt and Melissa.
The Orange County sheriff said Lane's body was located 10-15 yards from where he was pulled under water ... in about 6 feet of water. They said the body is still intact.
A rep for Fish and Wildlife said they will run forensics on the 5 gators they've pulled out of the Seven Seas Lagoon to determine if one of them is responsible for the child's death. They said if they can't find a match ... they'll continue searching for the culprit.
As we previously reported ... there were no signs warning of alligators in the water at the Disney Resort.

Christina Grimmie Killer Went Under the Knife to Win Her Affection

0615-grimmie-loibl-getty-01
Christina Grimmie's killer was on a mission to make himself so appealing she couldn't resist him, and when it didn't work he changed his plan to kill her ... this according to his former co-workers.
Various people who worked with Kevin Loibl tell TMZ his infatuation with Christina was boundless. He went on a mission to change his appearance for her and, toward the end, got hair transplants and Lasik eye surgery. He also went vegan to lose weight.
He would also listen to her music at work and vow she would someday be his wife.

Loibl's Best Buy co-workers say he went to one of Christina's shows in March and hinted that he actually met her. The co-workers also say the Geek Squad killer claimed to have played online games with the singer. A source close to the singer, however, tells us Christina never had contact with Loibl.

And there's this. The co-workers say they teased Loibl that he would never score because Christina had a boyfriend ... her producer. That relationship was never public, but pictures of Christina and the guy together on social media made it pretty clear ... they were together. We're told that enraged Loibl.
That rage was vented last Friday after Christina's show, when he shot her in the head and then killed himself.

5 Things the Pope Said Today That Have Shocked the World

In only three years, Pope Francis has proven that he's much more modern than Catholic leadership of the past. He's got accounts on Twitter and Instagram, rocks out on Spotify, and even promotes tolerance and kindness toward same-sex romantic relationships. In short, he's not like the other popes, he's a cool pope.
Today, Pope Francis released the Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love, in English), a 260-page document covering his views on family and relationships. He didn't break from essential Catholic doctrine, but he did gather these beliefs via talks and questionnaires with bishops as well as hundreds of Catholics around the world. There's a lot to digest in these pages, but a few of the major takeaways are:

1. Divorced or remarried individuals should be welcomed into the church.

Traditionally, it was a major sin to break the holy bonds of matrimony, and divorced people weren't permitted to receive Communion. Now, he wrote, "They are not excommunicated, and they should not be treated as such, since they remain part of the ecclesial community."

2. There should be more equality between the sexes.

He argued against really rigid gender roles, suggesting it would be an awful world if men were kept from, say, dancing - and women from leadership. "This, thank God, has changed, but in some places deficient notions still condition the legitimate freedom and hamper the authentic development of children's specific identity and potential." So go ahead and let your son paint his nails pink, in other words.

3. Unmarried couples shacking up are no longer "living in sin."

Pope Francis begged for tolerance of alternative lifestyles, saying Catholics "have often been on the defensive, wasting pastoral energy on denouncing a decadent world without being proactive in proposing ways of finding true happiness."

4. Sex is the key to human happiness.

He may have pledged a life of celibacy, but the guy still knows a lot about relationships. "God himself created sexuality, which is a marvelous gift to his creatures," he said. Then he went on to quote German philosopher Josef Pieper: Passion mixed with love "reveal[s] the marvels of which the human heart is capable. In this way, even momentarily, we can feel that 'life has turned out good and happy.'"

5. He still defines marriage as existing only between a man and a woman.

"We need to acknowledge the great variety of family situations that can offer a certain stability, but de facto or same-sex unions for example, may not simply be equated with marriage," he wrote. He also emphasized the importance of one male and one female parent for a child's stable upbringing.

6. But he recommends respect and tolerance of same-sex romantic relationships.

At the same time, he said that all gay people should be treated with respect and dignity and that discrimination should be avoided."By thinking that everything is black and white, we sometimes close off the way of grace and growth," he concluded.

American woman held in Abu Dhabi for refusing to talk to men at airport

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — A US woman has appeared in court for allegedly insulting the United Arab Emirates in public while waiting for a taxi at the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The National, a state-owned newspaper in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi, says the 25-year-old woman appeared Monday in the Federal Supreme Court.
The newspaper says the woman, whom it did not identify, told the court she’s been jailed since Feb. 23. It quoted her as saying two men approached her at the airport and that she “refused to engage with them and nothing happened.” The report did not say if evidence was presented against her.
The US Embassy in Abu Dhabi did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
While liberal on some issues, the UAE has strict laws governing expression.

Brussels terrorists initially planned to attack in France, prosecutor says

Terrorists who attacked the Belgian capital last month initially planned to strike again in France but changed their minds as investigators closed in, authorities said Sunday.
"Numerous elements in the investigation have shown that the terrorist group initially had the intention to strike in France again," the Belgian prosecutor's office said in a statement.
Investigators say that the same ISIS network was behind the Paris terror attacks in November and the suicide bombings in the Belgian capital last month.
When the terrorists discovered French investigators were moving fast in their investigation of the November attacks, they changed their plans, the Belgian prosecutor's office said.
"Eventually ... they urgently took the decision to strike in Brussels," the prosecutor said.
Salah Abdeslam, a key suspect in the Paris attacks, was arrested by police in Brussels on March 18. Just four days later, suicide bombers struck at the city's airport and subway station, killing 32 people.
The terror cell had planned to attack high-profile targets in Paris, CNN affiliate BFM reported, citing a source close to the investigation.
A laptop recovered by investigators in Brussels last month included a list of targets in Paris including the financial district, known as La Defense, and a Catholic association, BFM reported.
In November, Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said that investigators had learned that Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the ringleader behind the Paris attacks in November, had planned a suicide attack on La Defense.
Days after the attacks in Paris, Abaaoud was killed in a police raid. So was his female cousin Hasna ait Boulahcen.
Police had received a tip from a female confidential witness.
The witness told police she'd hosted Boulahcen in her home since October, according to documents, and that two days after the Paris attacks, Boulahcen received a phone call when the two of them were together.
The person on the other end of the line asked Boulahcen to find a vehicle and pick someone up in an industrial zone on the outskirts of Paris. The witness goes with Boulahcen and a man steps out from behind a bush. The witness later learns that the man was Abaaoud, the documents say.
The witness told police he wore orange sneakers and claimed he had taken advantage of refugees to come to France to carry out attacks.

    'Man in the hat'

Sunday's announcement came a day after authorities identified Mohamed Abrini, believed to be the third and lone surviving suspect in the Brussels airport attacks.
Authorities said Abrini confessed to being the "man in the hat." He was seen in Brussels airport surveillance images wearing a dark hat and rolling luggage carts with two men believed to be the suicide bombers.
Authorities charged him with participation in terrorist activities, terrorist murders and attempts to commit terrorist murders, the prosecutor's office said.
Abrini is one of six people detained in raids Friday across the Belgian capital. In addition to the Brussels attack, he has been tied through surveillance video and DNA to November's terror attacks in Paris. Those attacks killed 130 people.
Earlier Saturday, the prosecutor's office said it identified the second person seen in surveillance footage from the subway attack in Brussels.
Osama Krayem -- also known as Naim al Hamed -- is seen along suicide bomber Khalid El Bakraoui, according to the Belgian federal prosecutor's office.
He has also been charged with "participation to the activities of a terrorist group and terrorist murders," according to the prosecutor's office.
European security agencies believe Krayem, or Hamed, played an operational role in the attack.
Belgium has emerged as a hotbed of extremism, exporting more foreign fighters per capita to Syria than any other Western European nation, according to the International Center for the Study of Radicalization and Political Violence.
The Brussels and Paris attacks "point to a broad and sophisticated terrorist network in Belgium," the London-based think tank said.
