The Arsenal shot stopper has equalled David James' record after moving to the Emirates Stadium from Chelsea - but is he better than the likes of David Seaman and Edwin van der Sar?
"I don't believe that anybody still questions Petr Cech today. He is an all-time great in goal and the record speaks for him."
That was Arsene Wenger's tribute to the Arsenal goalkeeper after the Gunners beat Aston Villa 2-0 and Cech recorded his 169th clean sheet, equalling the Premier League record held by David James.
At 33 years of age - relatively young in goalkeeper's terms - Cech has time on his side to eclipse the current record and set a total which will take some beating.
